Begin with clean, dry, tangle-free hair. Seat your child in a well-lit area with a towel over their shoulders. Keep a damp paper towel nearby to wipe the comb between strokes.
Part the hair down the back and spray along the part line, then a few inches to each side. Move about a quarter inch over and repeat, creating small vertical sections until the entire scalp is covered. Continue spraying through each section from root to end.
When spraying near the front or around the ears, have your child tilt their head slightly back to avoid dripping. Gently massage the product into the scalp with your thumb. If it accidentally gets in the eyes, rinse with cool water.
Use the included Lice Sisters professional nit comb, starting close to the scalp and pulling through to the ends. Wipe the comb on the damp paper towel between strokes. Continue combing each section until clean.
Once the treatment is complete, shampoo twice to remove residue and debris. Style as normal.
After you have successfully treated lice and thoroughly cleaned your home, prevent lice from returning by using Lice Sisters Lice Prevention Spray. Apply a light mist daily before school, playdates, or activities to keep hair protected from new infestations.

The patented formula kills or stuns live lice on contact and weakens the glue-like bond that secures eggs to the hair shaft. Once that bond is disrupted, nits can be combed out more easily, supporting thorough removal in a single, properly performed treatment.
Yes. The treatment is a water-based, pesticide-free formulation designed for safe use on children when used as directed. It supports a physical removal process rather than harsh chemical insecticides.
Yes. Because the formula works through a physical process that kills or stuns lice and loosens the bond of their eggs, rather than relying on pesticide chemistry, it remains effective against lice that have developed resistance to common chemical treatments.
Yes. While the spray works to kill lice and loosen eggs from the hair, thorough combing ensures that all lice and nits are fully removed. This final step is essential, especially for schools that follow strict “no-nit” policies.
No. The formulation is water-based and does not contain bleaching agents or harsh oxidizers. It can be used on color-treated hair when applied as directed.
When applied thoroughly and followed by careful combing, the treatment is designed to support complete removal in a single session. However, success depends on proper sectioning, full saturation, and detailed combing. Incomplete combing may allow missed nits to hatch, which is why technique matters.
Yes. The sprayable, water-based formula is designed to evenly saturate thick, curly, coarse, fine, or long hair when applied in small sections. Proper parting and full scalp coverage are important to ensure effective treatment across all hair textures.
No. The formulas do not rely on permethrin or other common pesticide insecticides found in many drugstore treatments. The nit glue dissolving spray is a water-based formulation that uses alcohol, salt, and supportive ingredients to treat and remove lice and nits without traditional pesticide chemistry.
Yes. Lice Sisters sprays are suitable for adults as well as children and can be used whenever lice treatment or prevention support is needed. Simply follow the same application instructions for thorough coverage and combing.
The patented composition is designed to both kill or stun lice and weaken the bond that attaches eggs to the hair in one sprayable treatment. When paired with proper sectioning and a professional-grade metal comb, the process supports efficient and thorough removal.
Yes. Lice Sisters Prevention Spray can be used as part of a daily lice defense routine. A light mist after school, camp, or sports may help reduce the likelihood of an active infestation developing when exposure occurs.
